  1. Soak black eye beans for 4-5 hrs.

  3. Cut white Pumpkin into cubes. Add water, green chili, and salt, and cook until soft.
  4. Once the Pumpkin is half cooked add thin coconut milk, and cooked black eye beans,s and boil well for 5 minutes.
  5. Once everything is cooked add thick coconut milk and switch off the flame.
  6. Add curry leaves, and drizzle coconut oil.
  7. Allow this olan to soak the coconut milk so that it becomes a little thick. As today is Onam I'm happy to share my Onam Sadhya with my pookolam (floral carpet)
